Music has a very high priority at St. Anne Line Catholic Junior School; our children have a real passion for the subject. In school, every child learns to play an instrument – currently pupils are learning to play the ukulele in their class.
We have a school Rock Band, Chamber Choir, and Vocal Choir all of whom perform at festivals, school concerts, in Music assemblies, and out in the community. We hold music evenings, where children who take music lessons have the opportunity to perform to their parents and families. These are always very popular.
Further tuition is available from our School Music Director, Mr Lilley. Currently, we have children learning: classical guitar, electric lead and bass guitar, keyboard and piano, and drums.
These additional instrumental lessons cost of £80.00 per term (10 x 15 minutes lesson), and are booked termly by contacting the school office.
